It's very dark blue, almost black with the large FJR logo embroidered on front with the word Yamaha and yamaha logo embroidered on the back and thin silver along the brim.

I looked it up, mine is a 2005 and everyone who bought one that year got it from the Yammy factory. They are absolutely gorgeous. I distinctly remember the 2006 guys were pissed when the factory stopped after 2005. I will never wear it though, I'm not a hat guy. Let the bidding begin!! If...

I have always thought there should be a 6th or overdrive gear for hi-speed cruising. I've always gotten flamed here for that opinion. <_< Greg

Good luck to you, I made the exact change to a wing and it was the best for me as well. I really liked the FJR but the wing is the creme for me. I owned both at the same time and was under no financial pressure to choose, I just never chose to ride the feejer or the boss hoss for that matter...

You listed new tires as farkles, you won't get a dollar more for new tires on the bike. I agree, take off what you can and ebay them, as for the rest it will just help to sell the bike quicker and you will not get a penny more for them. Greg
