Motocrossers are the top of the food chain

Rode the FJR up to Washougal, close to a 3K mile trip. Spent a couple days in Hood River. This kid looked great, kinda feels like a changing of the guard in the 250 class, flying. The oldschool Yamahas looked tight.

Gotta say motoGP is kinda queer and more guys who can't ride in the motorcycle parking lot than I have ever seen before. Still fun and I would go to a motogp tomorrow, lots of goons into that. Denver SX this weekend got a suite, everyone in our box can ride. Motocrosser are the top of the...

    Fork rebuild

35mm film in an old dirt bag motocrosser trick, works like a charm.

I've ridden a few thousand miles on my 05 FJR

The bike is much more settled, way less up and down movement. Try new brake pads too. I put on a semi metallic pad on my bike and that helped with the binders.

    Thousand mile day.

I'm 55 my buddy on the goldwing is 63. Nice call on the low air, both bikes needed air in the tires in that pic.

Got that bike sorted out. The suspension was the biggest improvement. What a great bike now.

I've ridden a few thousand miles on my 05 FJR

I just did braided lines on my Tenere 700, a lot less rubber lines on that bike and really good brakes on that bike for its size, noticaicaly improved brake feel at the lever. The brake lines are not going to make the lever easier to pull, but they improve the vague mushy feel at the lever.

I think this FJR is going to be a much better motorcycle.

I've ridden a few thousand miles on my 05 FJR

I'll be shocked if the braided lines don't help the weak, mushy brakes on this thing, thats more rubber hose than I have ever pulled off a motorcycle.

Brakes should be much better. I got a penske shock and fork cartridges on the way. Should straighten this bike out.

    2up?

3 days at the race track, everyone in my family got a lot of track time we had a blast. Me and my daughter about to head out, this was her first stint on a 600. Both of the kids spent most of the weekend on a SV650. Great trip.

Not one word about the USA winning the MXoN's. Lots of kooks on this board who have never raced or know nothing about racing.
