I'm looking at adding the Techmount Stem Mount to my bike. I looked on their site but they din't seem to sell direct to the public.....anybody got a good source? For those that have already bought this item did you go with the 3" stem stand (Part # 10998). I plan on using it to mount my GPS.

I am not a drag racing guy at all.....I like the power for driving out of a corner and just launching down a short straightaway before hauling the bike down with full threshold braking before doing it all again coming out of the corner...granted the FJR is not the best bike to be doing this on!

Wastegates for turbos=old tech......variable vane turbos are where its at now. If you study turbos you will see that they are a tradeoff on any engine that has a wide rpm range. Too big of a turbo and you don't get any boost until very high engine rpms. Too small of a turbo and it gives great...

All the past factory turbo bikes had serious issues that prevented them from being "good" bikes. Yes they had superior acceleration (Kawasaki GPz 750 Turbo) but the extra weight of the bike coupled with the lame off boost performace rendered these bike to dropped. I have the factory cover....It fits the bike nicely and has the logo on it. I cann't give you a report on how it holds up in the weather as I use my just to cover my bike in the garage over the winter.
