I have paddled my backwards into 3 cars over the years. All mine or a house guest's. My interest in the camera is to loose the giant ungainly mirrors. This requires a reflective substitute to work with the cam though.

I did it because I wanted to and it is my bike. I posted the picture so you all could see. Like I said, I have converted everything but the headlights to LED and put in some running lights that were voted 44 to 2 as likeable or cool.

As for the front blinkers, I posted a good one on that one too. Something that came to mind just a couple of days ago is that every watt saved by switching to LED's goes into the voltage regulator as heat. Not much for tail or blinker but switching headlights to LED would be dumping another...

Part of the problem with tire life is riding habits and road surface. I always get over 10,000 now because of my job. I ride 114 miles every day at the same time, usually, close to the limit, all but 4 miles is slab. Less than 5% is twisty, fun riding anymore. Others ride on 2 lane twisties...

Mine are pointing to the Starboard beam. This way when she is listing on the sidestand I can get to them. But you can mount them left and let us know how it works out for you.

Thanks Mihalis. Those are exactly what I have on mine now. I just wanted better looking. I REALLY like the way Honda incorporated the "Tipover Wings" into the ST 1300's design. Some factory designs look so cool compared to round sticking out.

I bought 12 neodymium magnets and put them on the outside of my oil filter. Helps to trip the lights and catches any steel fragments. The only benefit to the magnetic plug instead is you can inspect the particles when is is out.
