"Spec" inflation to us is 40-44 psi, not what's printed on the sidewall. (Yes, every day FJR riders experience over-inflation blowouts so powerful that they register on California seismographs.)

Three weeks ago we left Atlanta, GA, on Thursday morning, rode across the Mackinac Bridge to Atlanta, Minnesota, and got home in time to eat Sunday dinner with my wife. Would not even attempt that on any other bike.

The closer you get to standing bolt upright, the easier it is to fall over on the right-hand side. Also harder to park if the pavement is not level. Try it out and report your findings, please.
