I drive a VW Jetta with the PD TDI motor......I'm getting 61 mpg (Imperial gallons)on the hwy....makes me wonder why I used to spend so much on fuel before I had this car and its a blast to drive. Right at 60 mpg it revs 1900 rpm which is right in the meat of its torque.

It depends on what you are looking for.....Many site are geared towards a certain logic that will find info for you in one area but will be totally lame in another area. Google gears its results to the most popular sites (Most hits) which can lead to missing info from smaller lest popular site...

Tell that to VW as they spec out an oil for the TDI engines that is $8 a liter and not availible from anybody but them in North America. It is a 5W40 oil that meets the 505.01 spec. I wish I got it for free!

So I am on a 3 week holiday with the family without the FJR....man do I miss it! Guy acrosss the street from where I am staying just picked up a new Honda CBR1000 sport bike....after checking out that badboy I miss my bike even more. :bigeyes:

I was riding the other night with a friend who was on a Ninja 900. Every time we would pull out to pass a line of cars he would be downshifting from 6th to 4th or even 3rd gear......I just cranked on some gas and the FJR pulled the Ninja no problem. That is the reason I bought the FJR over other...
