Been on a bourbon kick for the last year or so but before that it was Scotch and I still enjoy Scotch. Specifically Glenfiddich, MacAllan, the Speysides mostly. Balvenie Double Wood is great. Bourbons I like are Elijah Craig, Woodford Double Oak, Stagg Jr., Blantons, Eagle Rare, Buffalo...
Buddy of mine has a Tesla S.... it's a rocket. He turned off the traction control just for grits and shins and the thing lit 'em up instantly. No RPM lag... instant pure power. With TC on it takes off like it's getting catapulted, the acceleration is amazing to feel.
I actually miss the two brothers cans that I had on my 08... with the baffles on they were still louder than stock but the deep throaty sound of them when you were WOT was really nice. I'm looking forward to hearing what El Toro Joe's new pipes sound like.
I had Canyon Cages on my 2016. I touched the right side front cage on US 129 and it freaked me out a bit. Hard parts acting as levers and all. I'll admit I was really far over before it touched though. I put sliders on my 2017 but do have the rear bag guards on order.
The two things that ended up totaling my 2016 were the front forks being bent and the dents in the exhaust. Those items alone were as much as all the cosmetic stuff that was banged up.
Went for a nice ride today for a few hours. It was a bit windy and chilly though. I had to turn on my hand warmers to level two! That 65 degree chill in the air was brutal... after I got home I hopped in the sauna to warm up. ;-)
Never even lost power. Some small trees pushed over in the area, lots of wind and rain. We're absolutely fine. My thoughts are with the folks who got hit harder and those who are still feeling the storm.
All buttoned up and waiting for the show. Hope it's just an action movie and not a tragedy. My kids asked if we might see any alligators flying thru the air like cows in Twister. I told them anythings possible.
Touches at full lock... I have never had any interference when riding whatsoever. It's a really great bag. Not too big, not too small, just right. For me anyway. and I just LOVE the tanklock experience. So easy and smooth... no more scrapes or awkwardness trying to get magnets off to refuel.
Good question... I will have to check when I get home. I've had it for quite some time now. It's not large... Enough for phone, water bottle, hat, chargers and wiring, tylenol, ear plugs, knife, flashlight, band aids, etc.
