    Oil Leak happening right now…

Really hard to guess from a picture that isn't of the actual oil source. It's going to require inspection, looking for obvious sources of the leak, wiping off oil, etc. I agree that it's more likely an obvious thing like a loose oil filter, plug, or cap and would start there.

    Service Intervals

Other than valve checks and rebuilding suspensions, I do all my on work on the FJR. And that's one of the big reasons I first started on the forum--the body of knowledge and tips to do those things. So, three hours and 17 hours seems crazy to me these days...I'd do it myself.

    Signalling Fuse

Do you know the size of the wire on that circuit is sufficient for 10 amps? I don't think anybody here does for sure. While an extra 33% juice may not smoke-check the wires....I'd go find a 7.5 amp and put the same size fuse back in it personally. And it's been a while since I did the...

Gen 3 , have to hit the starter button two or three times before bike starts. Use to start first click every time.?

Assuming starter spins freely all the times you press it, fuel been in the tank for a while? Pretty warm since the last time you fueled up? It could be the switch from winter fuel to summer formulation that isn't as volatile. I know AZ is one of the states that does this.

Oil Filter Question 2024 FJR ES 1300

Partially true and talked about many times before including here that I found using search.

Final Drive Oil Change, Do This

If first, I agree. Should have been at 600 miles. But the glittery final drive oil is very likely because the factory uses oil that a lot of moly in it. And probably will have some the next time too. It will dissipate. Some shaving on the plug? Not abnormal in my experience the first time...

    Tire sealant? Roadside flat fix

Wow! You NAILED IT! Good for you. You win FJRForum.com this week. I've had three flats over the years, zero tows because I carried string, blue, and a way to inflate. Only one of them required replacement when I was able to limp to a shop the next morning. However, I personally avoid the...

I rode my new FJR home from the dealer today - Clunk/rattle!/lower fairing issue?

Thanks for the follow-up details and so glad it was something relatively small. I think that's a new one we haven't heard before on new bike setup. Usually it's thousands of miles later and the saddlebag locks disappearing because they didn't loctite the threads. ;) Enjoy your NEW bike. :)

I rode my new FJR home from the dealer today - Clunk/rattle!/lower fairing issue?

Can you be more specific? Did they replace fasteners that were missing? Did replace broken lower fairing pieces? What exactly was wrong? And to confirm, that was the source of clunking and rattling?

    dash globes problem

I'm betting globes means instrument bulbs? If so, check my signature. I upgraded to LED bulbs many years ago and documented some details.

I rode my new FJR home from the dealer today - Clunk/rattle!/lower fairing issue?

Admin note: this and the two previous posts were created as a new thread and should have have been a continuation of the existing thread on issues with a new bike. Merged and title tweaked to add the fairing issue. Yes, .those clam-shell halves should be touching each other and the recessed...

I rode my new FJR home from the dealer today - Clunk/rattle!/lower fairing issue?

New 2024 FJR with no miles? Doesn't sound normal unless it's brake rotor float. I can't recall for sure, but besides for sure installing the front wheel, I think maybe they torque head bearings and put on the handlebars. Maybe setup was an issue. Also, double-check they loctited the...

    Spider issues on 2003?

Not a spider specifically, but ignition switches on the 2003 sometimes also have issues.

    2014 FJR1300A Broken Fork Damper

Then you roll your dice and move your mice. Or, I'm guessing another person that's actually rebuilt forks or knows the fiddly bits of assemblies may come along....as I don't know this one.

    2014 FJR1300A Broken Fork Damper

Look at the part number of the two years on the fiche of OEM or Partzilla and compare. Same part number? Then it will work for sure.

    overfilled oil?

1/32" = 0.031 inches. 1 cm = 0.394 inches. Did you mean 1 mm for the metric version? If so, I wouldn't worry in the slightest about it assuming you measured while on the centerstand and not the sidestand.

    03 Won't Start

This is the one I was trying to remember versus the spider in Gen 2s. Agree it's possible. https://www.fjrforum.com/threads/ignition-siwtch-failures.108887/
