    PCIII Map - After 9 Dyno-Runs

Over the last few weeks I've been trying the Wally Smoothness/Power map and although it seems pretty good, I feel that it's a bit on the rich side. The exhausts are very sooty. Now that I'm used to it, I think I'll switch back to my map and see just how different it feels.

    PCIII

The installers of my PCIIIUSB failed to disconnect the O2 Sensor and after I did it myself, it ran far better. Click HERE to download [MadDogMcQ_Map 06/07] Copy Of Dyno-Printout

    PCIII Map - After 9 Dyno-Runs

After the Quill exhausts were fitted, the bike had 9 Dyno-Runs to get the most out of the bike. A few people had asked me for a copy but I forgot to post the map for people to play around with - until now : :) Sorry! Click HERE to download [MadDogMcQ_Map] Suitable for 2006 bikes onwards...

Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

I know now, that I unplugged the wrong one and from this wiring diagram I can see exactly which connector I should have unplugged. It's a different shape altogether..... I undid No.46 instead of No.45

Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

Ooops! Just found out Error-11 is cylinder identification thingy. Maybe I disconnected the wrong thing :-)

Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

I had my PCIII USB fitted and when I got home I rang the fitters to confirm that they'd disconnected the o2 sensor - they said they hadn't, so I disconnected it myself. As soon as I started the bike, I got the yellow engine warning light on and when I stop the engine I get an error code showing...

    lowering your FJR

I fitted the new dog-bones to lower the suspension and HATED it!!!!! Terrible handling, hit exhaust on speed-bumps even at walking pace and made centre-stand ridiculously hard to operate. Took them back off and am now waiting for an operation to have my femurs lengthened

G2 Throttle Tube - Fits the AE???

I was thinking about ordering a G2 Throttle Tube but something is nagging away at me, suggesting that it doesn't fit the clutchless models. Have I read that somewhere or is it just in my head? :dribble:

PCIII Poll: What map are you running?

I get my PCIII installed next Tuesday (Aug 14th) with multiple Dyno runs, so I'll leave the guys alone to find the maximum power map. After the best dyno-map is found, they'll be fitting a pair of Quill Evo2 exhausts fitted, with the baffles removed and a new map built to suit those. Then when...

    Just Fitted Ride-Height-Lowering-Kit (07 Bike)

Update - After lowering the front forks and riding another 600 miles, it has become apparent that the lower ride-height causes significant clearance problems in everyday use. Speedbumps which you used to ride over with ease, now scrape the exhaust even at very low speed. Plus the whole feel of...

    Just Fitted Ride-Height-Lowering-Kit (07 Bike)

Just 30mm. Geezer - I might give that a go tonight. Thx.

    Just Fitted Ride-Height-Lowering-Kit (07 Bike)

Well today I fitted the ride-height-lowering-kit onto my 07 FJR1300. Basically, the kit is comprised of 2 smaller dogbones and a washer fitted to the shocker-absorber which acts as a "stop". The first thing to note is that the bolt which goes through the dogbones is completely covered by the...

    Hard-Wired the Zumo tonight

Trinibob, not sure about US Dealers, but I'm guessing that Sportouring will ship one out to you from the UK. They're a pretty cool company.

    Hard-Wired the Zumo tonight

Hi BramFrank - yes the brown is switched. If I hadn't wanted a switched supply I'd have gone straight to the battery. While I had the panels off, I also doused all the visible connector-blocks and terminals (and Scotchlok) with ACF-50. Brilliant stuff for many reasons. Tom

    Hard-Wired the Zumo tonight

Just a remnant from the past Rick  I'll remove it and replace it with a centrefold from Playboy :yahoo:

    Hard-Wired the Zumo tonight

I'm going on a quick solo trip to Scotland and Northern Ireland this coming weekend, so I decided it was time to hard-wire the Zumo and mount it in a permanent position. I bought a central mount from MIGSEL and was pleased to find that it fitted perfectly and without a hitch. Then I removed...

I too noticed that in addition to the bugs splattered on the front of the bike, I also get them splattered on the clocks!
