    Throttle Body Synch…

I stuck a couple of pencil in those little water hoses as I had just done a coolant change when I removed the TB's.

    Starter button

I'd think the signal should be 12 volts, could be dirty contacts at the switch?

    Starter button

If you have a meter put the meter ground on the battery ground and then take two checks with the positive meter wire. One on the battery side of the relay and read the voltage, then put the lead on the starter side and push the starter button and see if it gives you a reading if it does but it's...

    Fault Code 12

In my case I put the solenoid in backwards so the ABS light stayed on al the time. So I suggest checking the orientation of the solenoid that is being removed and match it.

    Fault Code 12

Have you checked to see if the relay is getting a signal from the switch? I either missed where you said the relay is clicking but not engaging the starter. Just a wondering mind?? IMHO relays don't usually quit, they quit giving enough voltage to the starter due to burnt contacts. If you do...

2009 Gen2 died while riding to work - frustrating and I need some advise please

I think your bike is to new for the ignition switch recall and not sure either on the spider recall years either. It's been a long time since we have heard much about the spider bites. Before the recall for the ignition switch came out one of the members Bodie came out with a relay to bypass the...

    2013 FJR Rear Shock

I have replied with a PM for my price and what Cogent Dynamics wants for service. I'm with ScooterG on going after market! Go with what you feel is best for you but being able to service a shock every couple of years just keeps the handling crisp. I'm also a firm believer in doing a dump and...

    TrAiler wiring on FJR-bike side

rbentnil pretty much hit, when you said 5 pin I'm assuming that your trailer has a light setup that matches the separate brake and blinker. There are adaptors what can combine them also.

    starter issues?

Recently had my 07 starter out and checked it out for oil leak's while I had the TH's off, nothing so I put it back together, put the bike back together and nothing! No cranky! After doing all of the obvious checks we took the bike back apart got the starter back out and upon disassembly I found...

    Desulfating Battery Charger

I have the 2 head, so far so good. Didn't like buying the SAE to their style adaptor though.

Seals for Timken or other tapered roller steering head bearings?

My Tenere what comes with TIMKEN's had the detent, Top of the World Hwy the Dalton as far as North side of Atigun Pass and bouncing on the lift on the back of the M/H.

Seals for Timken or other tapered roller steering head bearings?

I get it, just a wondering mind. My Super Tenere had to have new head bearing at 55,000 but I put that on to being tossed around on the back of the M/H. My FJR will shake a little going down hill at 25 -35 a bit on older tires if I take my hands off.

    Repaired and rebuilt Ohlins shock

I have an Ohlins siting on a shelf that I'd let go of. It's time for a refresh but still a good deal.

Anyone checking the torque settings or tire pressures?

Seals for Timken or other tapered roller steering head bearings?

126,000 and wondering why people have to change the bearings?

Ignition Switch replacement bolts for security bolts

A wondering mind here, why would you go thru all that work or maybe what are you gaining? I can confirm that they are an M8-1.25 thread pitch as I just checked me stock 07 top plate. I have and old MCL product on my 07 and just measured the switch boss and it looks to be a 1/2 inch thick so a...

    LH Indicator LED not working.

Sounds like my luck, I guess always learning isn't all bad. :) There are people here that will tell you to search (and you should at least try) but ask anyhow! Some of those who tell you to search sometimes will give you a link or have first hand knowledge.

Well shit Don, I followed down the Roadster Cycle rabbit hole quite awhile ago now I'll have to be on the lookout again! Glad you find these things out for me!
