I lowered my Gen2 using Kouba links. 1" lower. Then slid the fork tubes up one inch. Happier now. Except the exhaust header scrapes on some speed bumps. Bike still feels great at 120.

Way back in 2010 the Gen2 specified 10w40. The Kawasaki shop is near me, so I use Kawasaki brand full synthetic. Yamaha shop is 25 miles away.

I scrape a little bit in the curves two-up. Not a problem. 1" lowered front and rear. By myself no scraping. Although I'm trying.

My 2010 began showing the ABS warning light 5 years ago. Paid over $600 at the dealer for new sensors f&r. The light returned from time to time. How many years did I ride before ABS on motorcycles? Not worried.

Long ago I added front wobble to my Honda 500/4 by putting a tail trunk on it. Impossible to ride. Shook like the devil. Took it off. I thought it unweighted the front. And remember those muscular tire pressures 40/42.
