    IMS Cancels 2022 Shows

Just got the email. Didn't go last year. They've really gone downhill. Wasn't sure if I would go this year, only reason I'd consider is was it was going to be near a buddy and was an excuse to ride for a visit. Dear IMS Fans, We have some news to share today with our IMS Family...

    First Bike?

Well, I did ride my brother's RD350 and my sister's CB250 (four-stroke dog) before I had a license. Then I got my own '80 Kawi 440 LTD for legal riding (loved that bike, but it lacked power), and also rode my step-father's 1969 Yami 250. Then I upgraded to my brothers XS650, then my FJ1200...

Completely forgot about it. But every day is ride to work day. I don't recall seeing any more bikes on the road than usual, which is usually one or two.

I was in Barcelona in the 90s and the Ramblas was just wall to wall bikes and scooters. We'd go out for drinks in the evening (and into the morning) and what surprised...
