Watching the speedometer I saw him exceed 220kph. Thats over 135mph.

Not much space for batteries. Even with the terrible ergonomics a rider could probably sit on one long enough to need a charge. The Livewire recently announced by Harley has considerably more battery space.

The chances of seeing this in the US is improving as the big singles disappear due to environmental regulations. I have to assume that twins will replace the big singles from all of the manufacturers.

You really should look for an opportunity to ride the bikes and then decide. I say that because I thought I wanted a Super Ten a few years ago but changed my mind as soon as I took one on a demo ride. It simply was not for me.

It sure is ugly. It might not look as bad in a different color scheme, but maybe not. When I was younger the horsepower would be enough to get me to want one, so I think it will sell in the right market.

Yes, Yamaha was at the NY show. They had their usual large display, but they brought last year's FJR.

The same is true for automobiles. If you walk in to buy a new vehicle and pay more than dealer invoice you are paying a premium. Many dealers will show you the invoice so you know what 'they paid' for the vehicle. They make their profit on other incentives from the manufacturer.

I like it from what we know so far. I wish it was lighter so it could compete with the KTM 690R.
