Congratulations Wendy! Go Wendy! Go FJR! Gen1 FJRs are the best, the 05 FJR even better, and Wendy has proven she is the best of us all! PS- To those BMW kool-aid drinkers (one specifically) nobody remembers second place, or fourth, or fifth, or seventh. Nobody!! Put that in your final drive...

Owens might arguably be in a league all of his own. Something to contemplate, while one starts trenching the Bavarian defensive... When a well prepped and executed rider/bike combo wins the IBR. Is it mostly because of the bike? Similarly - when multiple well prepped rider/bike combos - blow...

It could all depend on who were you riding with, and if you sent him to the border crossing before you with an expired passport... It may also not help to tell them you intend to use condoms "for protection".

I wonder if the Leg 1 bonii are still in play in Leg 2/3, although, maybe their points value is diminished if bagged in Leg 2/3. Similarly - maybe the Leg 2 bonii (before Kennewick window closed) are also available in Leg 3 (after Kennewick), but again - their points value is diminished if...

The putt putt pink gay clean bike in the pictures does not belong to a rally participant. It belongs to Rally Staff. If asked, my guess is that the Rally Staff would claim it got washed (by the rain) on its way across the country - from Greenville to Kennewick.

A good deer is no deer!! I mirror your sentiments about riding at night. Although, I slayed mine at dusk... But then there are some FJRForum members who have in the past abused sheep at night (there are pictures) only to have their brethren take revenge...and that happened in broad daylight as...

Considering going to Checkpoint #2, but work being what it is - not sure I will be there physically. Although, I will be there in spirit.

BAD DOG! July 2018 Cognoscente Group event

It's a dog-gone rally it seems like. I imagine riders will be digging to bury bones, and lifting a leg at the checkpoints, but I believe that's already been done! Sounds like some howling fun!

I only know 4 out of the 5. Jim Owens, Wendy Crockett, Erik Lipps, (don't know Bob Lilley), and Ken Meese.

That might be too EVIL even for the Masters of the IBR universe...Besides, it also cuts into their fun of mind-f***ing with the riders about whether to head straight to the checkpoint or go grab that bonus just that 15-20 minutes off the route...
