Rolliefree if you are a wrench you will find any model FJR probably the easiest bike to maintain ever. Air and oil filter changes are a snap. The battery is in a unique location but considering you only change it every 6 to 8 years it's no big deal. Wheels come off like motorcycle wheels...

Proper thing to do is take the wife and go sit on the bike and see if it fits or not.  I ride solo so significant other's concerns I could care less about.   It's not a Goldwing if that is the position you are looking for.

This is how I lit up the rear of my Wing.  Skene P3 runs everything.  Canbus unaffected.  Picture is running/taillights only.  When you hit the brake everything flashes and goes bright like a brake light.  And all has the Skene flicker when normal running. Not sure it will be noticed by someone...
