I'd offer to help ya, but I'm in Abilene. Haven't done a valve check on an FJR but have on two seperate crossplane R1's within the last 2 years. The concept is probably the same with bucket over shims. I'm retired so have the time, but don't drive to the metroplex unless I absolutely have to.

The 2022 bike looks identical to the 2016 ES bike. Yamaha actually used the 2016 pics for the 22 model.

That is a great deal for that bike. Definitely would consider that bike and I'm in west texas, 'cept I like blue. Saw they had a '16 ES for $15,179. How long before they drop in price like that?

Another dual FZ/FJR owner. Love both bikes for what the offer. My FZ is well suited too with performance mods and does great at the track. Both are amazing bikes.
