07 FJR 8k Miles with Traction dynamic/penske Shock

07 FJR 8k miles, garaged kept, has traction dynamics front shock and penske rear shock. Handle bar riser and foot pegs have been lowered for better seating position. It has a Vstream windshield. The bike handles GREAT with the traction dynamic/penske shocks. Road Pilot II tires with less than 1k miles. The bike springs are setup for a heavy rider or two up. The bike is in great shape. The reason for selling is the bike has sat for the last year and half with little riding. $8500 and I live in Charlotte NC

The one minor defect is rear mufflers are a little discolored because the dealer I bought it from removed a power commander and didn’t reconnect the O2 senor.

Thanks Fred. I really thought this would be the long term bike for me which is why I had all the suspension work done. Unfortunately I have been pulled in other directions and hate to just see it sitting in the garage.

Ok, I have come to terms with the fact it is late in the riding season. Lowering the price to $7200. If I can't sell it for this price I will probably just keep it.

I don't think you have enough posts to be allowed the privilege of editing the post title. Try asking an admin nicely if they would do the job for you.

There are no 'specialist' admins. Try Bounce, SkooterG or Ignacio. These guys all ride a lot, unless you happen to catch someone having a down day it could be a while before they can respond.

I'm guessing that after you found out about the O2 sensor it was reconnected . . . correct? Any idea why the dealer removed the Power Commander? I would think it would have been a feature that would have made the motor easier to sell.

 

I'm guessing the lowered foot pegs meant a sacrifice in ground clearance. What would be involved in returning the seating position to stock?

I do still have the OEM shock but I'm not looking to sell it. If the bike doesn't sell as is I will wait till spring and put back the stock suspension and see the AK and penske seperately.
