The original battery in my 2002 VTX1800 finally died yesterday. I've never had a battery last that long. I guess keeping it on a tender when not in use served me well.

My 06 FJR battery is still going strong. I also use a tender on it.

 
..but RacinRay would have to pay shipping, knowing 'Owie...

You won't get half that life out of a replacement, the OEM's last the longest.

 
Just replaced the OEM on my 06 Fz1. 8 yrs and never once put a tender on it. I could still charge it after it started to fail and it would last a week or so before it would die again. Those OEM batteries are pretty amazing.
