Based on color and build date of Oct 2007 , it is a 2008

Registration says 2007. 10/07 would tell me it's an 08 but I just defaulted to 2007 as the registration says.

Some states used to do dumb stuff like register bikes based on year of sale or mfg date rather than the year that is part of vin. Can make re-registration interesting when the DMV kicks it out because previous title doesn't agree with vin year.
