Asking $9,900. Never dropped, no blemishes of any kind, garaged, well maintained with records, 11,356 miles, clean and clear title, over $1,600 in useful accessories included. This is the AE electronic shift model. There is no clutch lever. The computer-controlled electric clutch engages for you, but only as you shift, either by a paddle shifter or a foot shifter, similar to F1 racing technology. Accessories, listed from least to most expensive, include:

$ Gerbings 12V fused charging / accessory harness
$ Slime compressor
$ Stop & Go mushroom plug tire repair kit
$ Pyramid Plastics fenda extenda
$ MCL RAM ball reservoir cover
$ OES frame sliders
$ Yamaha carbon fiber tank and filler cap protectors.
$$ Yamaha touring wind screen
$$$ MCL Hwy Pegs
$$$$ MCL steering head riser plate (your body will thank you)
$$$$ Unknown make of running lights, but they look like they belong on a tank, see photo.
$$$$$ Sargent world sport seat with silver piping (practically new, your butt will thank you)

Photos available if you will PM me with your private email address. I am selling because I do not ride often enough. Not interested in trades or deposits. Test rides require a valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement, and a $500 cash deposit refundable only if the motorcycle is not damaged during the test ride. This is the amount of my insurance deductible. Thanks for looking!

Sorry, I just added the asking price, $9,900. I am basing this on a comparable with a dealer in Colorado Springs. Their price is a little higher with higher mileage and no farkles that I can tell. I will know in a couple weeks if mine is priced too high.

It sounds like a good starting price. If you are prepared to accept $9000 it should go quickly.

That said, it's peak buying time and you could easily get close to what you are asking ... and most buyers couldn't care less about the "extras".

Good Luck With Sale.

Thanks for the sanity check, Twigg. I kind of hate to see it go, but I have to be honest and admit that I am never going to ride it often enough to justify keeping it. I will feel happier just throwing that money at my mortgage instead.

Asking price now dropped to $8,900. I need to make a couple of clarifications to my opening post. Michelin tires are less than half worn. Other than a minor scrape on the front edge of the front fender that would never be casually noticed, there are no blemishes. Also, for those not aware, the factory heated grips come standard with the AE model. The asking price will not be further reduced.

Remember that AEs sometimes go for less than their non-AE counterparts. Seems lots of people are having a hard time selling bikes right now. Give it some time....The right buyer just has to come along. This sounds like a nice bike, and should go, especially if you have someone that is looking for an AE. GLWTS...

I am embarrassed to now state that I have found it necessary to lower the asking price to $8,500. This is due to the incredibly extended sucky weather pattern here, plus I just had to cough up $40k unexpectedly. Someone come and take it.

I just created my first online photo account via snapfish and loaded the bike photos. I tried pasting the URL for each photo here but that didn't work. Help?

You need to pick the IMG link. When posting there is a little button in the upper left hand corner that needs to be turned on in order to see the picture and not the link.

1) push switch button

2) post links to pictures

3) save post

That should do it.

I'm don't think I am as dense as my trouble with this may suggest. I clicked the grey upper left hand tool, which grayed the other tools, and pasted a URL from snapfish, but can't seem to view the image directly. Seems like the links are not to thumbnails at least. I am of course happy to email photos.

Down to $7,500. I want it gone. At this price, perhaps a "fly and ride" would be warranted. The mountains here are incredibly beautiful.

Beautiful bike! Too bad I already have one or I'd jump on this.

I don't see an ad on craigslist. Is it out there somewhere? The right amount of marketing will get this bike sold quick!
