337 Leakey To Camp Wood

I was riding out in the Leakey area last week 09/06/05 and it looks like they have finished the bridges but the last couple of miles into Camp Wood are still being resurfaced. When I drove up I was glad to see the water truck had just sprayed the dirt with water becase I wouldn't want to get any dust on my bike. Luckily I was on my Dual sport CBR1000RR it handles the mud really good. Besides that the 3's looked really good just the usual few rocks laying in the road.

Love that area; they always keep you on your toes out there; sometimes low water crossings, sometimes bovine road warriors, or the ever present low flying roadkill munchers....ah, time for a road trip!

Thanks Shaun, my Grandmother lives in Leakey and I take the "scenic" triple 3's when I can and its not so damn hot !!! Appreciate the update ! See ya in then thar hills ! :yahoo:
