Arkansas -Ozark St Francis Natl Forest - Highway 16 and 21

I will be travelling from Bentonville to Little Rock shortly.
Looking at a map and thinking about a route thru Ozark St Francis Natl Forest. Highways 16, 295 and 23 or 16, 295, 16 and 21.
Informed comments appreciated.

you wont be disappointed with any route in the Ozarks. Hwy 23 is wonderful, I would suggest taking the hwy 215 bypass off hwy 23 to 103 south. I would also suggest getting a Butler Motorcycle map of the Ozarks, it was and is a wonderful resource to have on hand. butlermaps.com. Enjoy as your sidewalls will get a work out. have a great ride.

If you open a Google map on your phone, you get the start point and end point and Google's "best" route in between. Waypoints that shape the route are not brought over. The same link viewed in a desktop browser has all the route detail. The two links are very different...

They are 2 significantly different routes; they appear to have the same name because they have the same start / end points. Or at least they show up as 2 different routes when I click the links. YMMV. You might want to zoom in close enough to see the actual road numbers and turn details.
Don't really know your objectives on the route, whether to just get to Little Rock or to enjoy the long and winding road.

Sorry, I don't see a link to the route you are suggesting. Using some of the roads mentioned in your first post one choice might look something like this. This will look like the same name as the others because it still has the same start / end points. Don't know your actual start / end points, I'm just guessing.

If you've never ridden in NW Arkansas before, there really isn't a bad choice of routes. I always choose a special "long cut" to maximize the curvy roads between destinations, and to use up the most daylight, tires, fuel and energy. It's a bonus if I can still stand up at the end of the day. The routes I suggested string together some of the best curvy roads and scenery that eventually gets to Little Rock.

But don't tell anyone else about these routes. It's secret and I'm giving the password only to you!!

I'd suggest you take two days to get there and explore NW AR. Anything in or out of Jasper is fun. 16 East or West. 23, 21, 7, 27, 74,123 (all three sections) and don't miss 341 (aka Push Mtn.) all mostly N/S roads as they blend in and out of other routes.
