arrived at Spartanburg Marriott

Arrived today at 1500 EST. :yahoo: Had a nearly uneventful 2400 mile ride with stopovers each 1k. visited with relatives in memphis and old Iron Butt partner in Cookville TN. Nearly wiped out my right ankle and shin/knee for being hit by a portion of a blown truck tire. :assassin: was lucky and got some good advice from wifey on putting ice on it while resting. worked out well and I am only barely limping and nearly free of pain. thank goodnes I was ATGATT especially with my new for the rally Sidi Gortex Thyphoon hard toed boots.

Got lot of welcome hours in very wet and strong thunderstorms in AK and TN. The wetness was welcomed due to the high 90+temps :angry2: with equal humidity levels.

My 06 performed wonderfully thanks to Kaitsdad and YOC!! Will make additional reports. Wish this ole FJR Vintage Rider good luck and success, please!! thanks
