I recently went riding in the Texas Hill Country and noticed, at highway speeds, a loud whistling road noise that I'd never noticed before. I noticed that just changing my speed would alter the sound and that letting off the gas would totally eliminate the sound until I was back on the throttle. It then occurred to me that the only thing different was that I had a new T32 GT mounted on the rear. I had already been running a T32 GT front for some time. I was running around 42-43 psi in the rear. It makes this road noise riding 1 or 2 up, on asphalt, chip seal, or concrete. Pretty annoying actually and I'm riding with ear plugs. I haven't had a chance to play with lower tire pressures and see if it makes any difference. I have run both T30 and T31 GT's in the past without this problem. Just curious, has anyone else experienced this?
