i really like the sound on https://www.bikes-n-spikes.org/mods/cans/cans.html with the D&D slip ons. The only problem is i called D&D and they do no make any for the 2007 FJR. Has anybody done any modifications to make them fit on the Gen II bikes? I would think they would bolt on just like the earlier models, but i guess there is a difference. I called the tech dept at D&D, and he wasn't even aware that they weren't listed for the new model FJR's. Any suggestions. thanks

Don't quote me on this, but I'd say the main difference is in the half-pipe connecting the can to the OEM header. At least that was the "updated" part the BlueFlame Performance people told me they had to fabricate for the Gen II FJR. Btw, have you heard the really cool tune the BlueFlame Performance cans put out? The EVO3 Oval cans have two baffles that you can play with to adjust the sound level to your liking, plus they add about 5bhp to the bike to boot.

This is a link showing a dyno HP comparo b/w a stock '06 and an '07 with the EVO3 Oval cans.
