Because it is early in the year, I have had my nose in The Weather Channel for a week. It looks like I will have 45 deg. and cloudy when I go over Santiam Pass in Oregon, the route I am going to take to get to the other side of the Cascades. It's only about 4800 feet elevation, and it looks good for Monday's travel, but things can always change. I have an alternate route already programmed into the Zumo XT that takes me farther south to cross over if I need to due to weather. I think I have a very realistic plan, with gas stops programmed in, should be fun,,,,for the first 6 hours,,,,lolol. I have been hitting the gym for the last two months, not bulking up, just cardio and flexibility, so I think I am as ready as I can be. I will check in when I get the first leg done when I hit Las Vegas.
