Well, I dunno if I'm the first one home, but I'm apparently the first to put my arse in a chair and post up.

GOOD SHOW! Muchos kudos to the organizers, helpers, and the Quality inn too!

Had a great time in WV, enjoyed spending time with the other inmates, and enjoyed what riding I wasn't too lazy to go do. Four hours and change down through WV, VA into NC and I'm home and dry. Fortunately the gear kept me that way, while the Pirellis and the FJR got me here safely. Big thanks to FJRfarrier for the straps which let me get my Bridgestones home. Never noticed they were there other than mounting/dismounting at my two stops.

Can't wait until the next one; Hooterville attendees be safe!

311 miles and 5 hours later, Sooze and I are home.

Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a blast of a time. It was great seeing familiar faces and new ones.

Thanks to Wayne and all of the folks who made EOM 2015 happen!

I got back pretty early at 2:30 PM. It rained through WV and VA into MD. Skies cleared after entering PA and its mostly sunny and clear here for the eclipse tonight.

Glad the tires were less of a hassle than you thought. Great seeing everyone, and hope all arrive home safe. I know several have a couple days of travel ahead.

Mona and I pulled into our driveway about 2:40. East on 64 and 81 North until around Staunton, VA were in the rain and some fog. Stopped for fuel and a bite and from there to our house it got warmer and the sun came out. 316 miles. Her new to her BMW F800St showed 62 mpg on one tank and 65 mpg on another.

Great to meet all of you. Huge thanks to Wayne and all the staff who helped out! Great time, we'll be back!

Made it home safe yesterday. Combo of the Mrs being sick, the rain, and one of the corners of our floating dock breaking loose drove me to heading to the barn yesterday.

Thanks to Wayne and everyone else that put time into making this such a great event.

I was pleased and honored to meet Don and Tyler. Thanks to the two of you for coming across the country to be a part of this shindig.

517 miles, and I'm home. Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the event, and I'm thankful to all who had a hand in this year's EOM. The bike is great, but the people are better. Thank you.

I started off riding with Madmudder, Wineguy, and LittleJon. We rode just South of Elkins and split off as they tried to lure me into going the wrong way to seek adventurous roads and take me off of my path home. Two red Gen 3's screamed by me, so I decided to ride with them for a few miles. Jim and Iris of course. We stopped off at the McDonald's in Elkins for a break and I headed off toward Pittsburgh via 250 North and 119 North. 119 North had a closed bridge and I used the GPS to guide me around the closure. Bad idea.

I rode rocky trails for 10 miles on roads that could have been waterfalls if there had been water. An amazing challenge that I committed too deep into to turn back. Definitely not a travelling route for the FJR. Somehow I made it after a few close calls. Just another story in to tell at a future rally. :)

Made it home safely and dry at 1:15 PM. A great time and many thanks to Wayne and all involved who put together an incredible get together in spite of the rain. Nice venue. So good to see some faces I hadn't seen in a while.

Made it home safe and in time for a family reunion picnic. It was like EOM- but with blood family. *shudder* lol

400 miles of slab- and finally hit dry pavement when I crossed the Ohio River.

I'm glad those straps worked well for you! And somebody was telling me "you don't need to take those straps- what would you need them for?" For this exact reason!!! FOR TIRES!!! Just carry them with you, pass them on, and help out a fellow biker. That's all I ask. Pay it forward. :)

It was nice to meet so many of you! Shout out to the wonderful people who put all this together. Those who worked on organizing this so well- so that all we had to do was show up and ride! Kudos to you.

Got home at 5pm after riding back, the long way, with Bob, Heidi, Jay, and Kim. Yes, it rained pretty much the whole way back.

Thanks to Wayne and crew for EOM; it was another great one! The rain sucked, but despite that, we rode and had a great time! :D

Home safe. Allen, VMAXchuck, and I took some twisties for a while and rode out of the rain in about 30 min. Headed toward the thicker gorge. Wound up near Hawks Nest state park with dry roads and we got after it pretty good. We then took the FJR-DSs on some of the most ridiculous excuse for a road. More like a goat path. It was challenging for sure. 607 miles later I am watching football on TV with the family. Side case made it with a few adjustments. Will be getting pinned tomorrow.

Great event despite the rain. Had much fun catching up with friends and making new ones.

It was good to see everyone again. Followed Derk/Christina & Dana up SR 219 where they split off for the east coast and me heading to fly over country. Got home at 6p Sunday. From Elkins, WV, went US 33 w and US 47 w, picked up US 50 thru Belpre, OH, then back on US 33w out of Athens, OH. Great ride and out of the rain after Elkins, WV.

Made it home after 13 hrs of every kind of weather except snow. Thank you to LittleJon, FJRPittsburgh and Wine Guy for escorting me home. Thanks to all involved with making this event a success. It was great getting caught up with old friends and getting to know others that type away on this forum.

I had a blast and look forward to the next one!

I am so hungry I would eat at Applebees if I were dressed for it

Marty and I got to my house in Greer about 3 pm and of course rode through frickin rain the whole way. Nice to see old faces and meet some new inmates. Thanks to Wayne, Gerald and all the organizer for a great time. Off to Hooterville in a couple of days.

The ride to Sutton to return the bike was dry and devoid of traffic... peaceful and relaxing.

The drive back to Pittsburgh to return the rental car was uneventful and I made it to the gate to catch my flight with time to spare.

Sitting in Vegas right now waiting for my connecting flight to San Jose.

I am completely and utterly exhausted... in the best way possible. B)

Thanks again to Wayne and his EOM elves... thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to doing it again soon!!
