Did the hotel in Sparta, NC ever get considered? I think that it's called the Alleghany Inn. I've stayed there several times in the past. good place. Gas, food & good riding close by. I know how those riders that cannot control themselves have a hard time considering western VA but for real... there is some superb riding in western VA.
