Okay, they did ask my name, address and phone number.

I called and let them know that I broke the slider on my jacket zipper. I guess I am so eager to ride that I just yank on the thing too hard!

The customer service rep simply took my information and the new zipper slider is on the way.

This seems a little thing and I suppose it is, but I'm still happy with FirstGear support and this is the first time I have had to use them. Keep in mind, this is the same jacket that I've had for the last 3 years and 40k miles and it predates my 7/05 purchase of my FJR. Still with no questions asked they sent me a replacement part.

nearly same experience:

zipper broke on mesh pants, out of warranty...

asked pants size so he could send correct zipper...

4 days later, 2 zippers arrived: one fine tooth, the other coarse tooth...
