Can you elaborate further on how the motor seems to be doing with those miles? Power? Oil consumption?
Has the motor been apart at some point?
Any secrete to getting one of these motors up to those miles?

I'm still riding it and it's up to 509547 of which 28825 was put on this year.
Plus I put 9596 on the Gen 3. P.S. Does anyone know how many miles MX vet has now. (ED), around Chicago area.

Yes, the engine was replaced at about 456,000 miles because it stalled on a cold morning while it was warming up. They said it had low compression and the shop couldn't check it, didn't want to monkey with it because of the mileage. So it set for another 3-4 years before we replaced it. Keep the oil changes up to date and regular checkups. and if you need to know more on the bike check my earlier threads, back around page 32 and up.Hey Ghost,

I'm riding but my 2011 only has a fifth of the mileage you are displaying. Hope you get some relief from the bursitis!Do to bursitis in the hip, I can barely walk let alone, ride my bike. So my mileage will stay as pictured for awhile
