Has any one changed fork seals on a Gen Ii and found the bushings worn and sloppy? The bike had 6k on it and the seals were leaking because the bushings were worn. Racetec never heard of such a thing. I think maybe it was assembled with the wrong parts when it was made. I had to make a special tool to seat the bushings. Let me know if anybody has had a similar problem.

They are know to wear. replace the bushing when you have it apart. Lot's of threads on here about the issue

The fork bushings are an annual maintenance item along with the fork oil. I let mine go too long and the handle bars started to wobble just a bit on decel or steady 50 ot 60 mph speeds. Now have GP Suspension and a Penske shock - much better than stock, it is like having a completely different bike.
