Canadians find William Shatner really annoying too Mike - that's why we sent him to TinselTown.

Hey ME, tell me more about these clamps.
Well.... they're for adults only, can be used one-handed, body milk makes them more comfortable .....

Anything else ?

Hey, SacMike,

When you and MEM finish making googoo eyes at each other, I got a reply from the BC tourist agency.

A suggestion? Ask a buddy that works in an engineering office to print one of these for you on size D paper (24x36 inches) and fold it however necessary to fit into your topbox.

And who knew there were seven-story buildings in BC that aren't at a ski resort?

Hi Uncle Hud, you world-famous motorcycle touring guy,

Thank you for contacting HelloBC.com requesting a BC Road map.

Requests for printed BC travel information have been in decline for several years, and while we recognize that some organizations and travelers may still prefer printed guides, it is no longer practical nor financially feasible for Destination BC to continue producing and distributing printed guides. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We encourage you to visit www.HelloBC.com to find and download the most up to date BC travel information.

We have a range of virtual regional guides (including detailed maps and distance charts):

Northern BC Region: https://issuu.com/northernbc/docs/2018_nbcta-travelguide_w

Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Region: https://issuu.com/cariboochilcotincoast_bc/docs/cccta_travel_guide_2017

Vancouver Island Region: https://vancouverisland.travel/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/t-e-guide.pdf

Although there isn’t a virtual regional guide for the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains region, you can visit our website for information on this particular region: https://www.hellobc.com/?s=Vancouver%2C+Coast+and+Mountains

When you’re travelling through BC, make sure that you stop at Visitor Centres along the way. Nearly each community has a visitor centre, and the staff there are happy to share their community with visitors. You’ll probably learn about some local gems that can’t be missed in each stop along your way! https://www.hellobc.com/plan-your-trip/visitor-information-services. You can also pick up a road map from BC Visitor Centres.

We hope you find these tools useful and we look forward to welcoming you to British Columbia.

Kind regards,

Rhonda (names changed to protect this nice woman's identity from you idjits)

She was polite over the phone and via email. No sense splashing her semi-personal info all over the world-wide-web.

I've become overprotective about my shit on the web. Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Google, and Apple know more about me than my wife.

The problem with free maps, especially the AAA variety, is that they can be missing some detail on secondary roads.

Given the cost of maps, I head to my local travel or book store before I leave home. For us Canucks travelling in the US, it's far more expensive to buy a map for each state (50) than it is for you 'muricans traveling to Canada where we have far few provinces (10).
