Well-satisfied owner of a Garauld rear rack with backrest here (and that's a good price), but mine's a little different--doesn't have that tab sticking out of the side like yours. What's that for? You could always cut it off and grind it smooth, but what's its purpose? Seems a little hazardous. (And I agree. No pipes in your pics.)

That may be so...but if you want to sell something, usually a photo of the item in its present condition makes the sale go faster.
