Gloves: Damn you Old Michael & what ever rock you're hiding under.

So years ago when my good gloves died a terrible death I started looking for a new pair. Of course I ask the forum and everyone came up with some great ideas. But that rat, Old Michael,  talked me into some gloves that were out of my usual price range. And of course I really liked the gloves.

Fast forward a bunch of years and those gloves are just plane wore out.

So I went looking for new gloves & new gloves of by the same maker also. Damn gloves are even more expensive now but it's only money. Old Michael has not been around here for awhile but he's still costing me money.

 

The gloves still look pretty much the same but the makers added some layers where mine died.

As much as I hate to admit it, I do kind of miss that guy.

You might be the tightest wad on the forum, David.  Those old gloves were about as protective as a pair of wool mittens for the last 10,000 miles you wore them.  But I agree with you on one thing, at least.  Damn that Old Michael.

Check out Churchill gloves in Wa. or Sullivan gloves in Bend or.  I buy off the seconds rack at Sullivan and they are cheap.

Hey now! I thought it was Fontana that wore them to the cords? My old Red head's tires only have 1,800 miles on them and the other mounted set I can still see wear bars.

I have 2 pair of racer gloves just like yours.. Crash tested the first pair in 12 with Bambi after the Ruben. Great gloves+++
