Doing some van camping this weekend and stumbled upon this location.

Just 10 minute outside of Sheet Harbour on the Eastern Shore

2 km from Taylor’s Head, great hiking and beautiful beach.

if travelling through, I would suggest trying this place out.

Looks like they might cater more to the RV crowd than tenters - although the did seem to show a small tent area.

Are the sites decent?  Cost and amenities?

Eastern Shore (east of Halifax for those who aren't familiar with Nova Scotia) is nice and less touristy than the peninsula and South Shore (west of Halifax).

Plenty of tent sites, good privacy if you want.

$28.00 for tent sites.

Laundry and a pizza joint on site.  Ice cream too

For a tent site, I like some privacy and away from the RVs and their cheap loud generators - a real problem in some places.  I'll keep this place in mind when I am down that way and looking for a campground.
