Bought my '06 in '16, still happily riding it! Had that spider bite thing at one point, but got it sorted out and all's well. No real farkles/mods to speak of, beside the standard: bar risers, more comfortable seat, taller windshield, and highway pegs.
I don't take pictures- of anything- so have none to post of the bike. It looks like your standard blue Gen 2. Have no plans to ride anything else, as long as this keeps ticking! With just north of 60k miles, I feel like there's a lot of life left in 'er.
