Not Safe For Work
Well, TWO ways, really. You can be over 62 like me and pay a one-time $10 fee for a permanent senior park pass. I've saved a lot with mine in the X years since I first qualified.
If you can't wait that long, all you have to do is join the Army! Hell, it even works for the rest of 'em too. $80 National Parks annual passes will be available for free to all active duty military and their dependents beginning May 19, Armed Forces Day. Here's one website that gives the details, and there are lots more. Just another "thank you" from our friends, the government. This time, it's something good. Thanks from me, too, FWIW.
