Used to carry my spare key in the sidecase. Realized that a lost key meant the sidecase wouldn't open. Narrowly missed a "dumbass" moment.
My dumbass list is pretty long.

My spare ignition keys are inside my Givi topcase. My spare Givi topcase keys are in a pan under the seat. If I lose BOTH keys at the same time, I'm hosed. But if either of them bends/breaks by itself, I'm covered (and, frankly, if one is desperate, getting into a Givi topcase is not that hard without a key).
