Jim and I rode in 23 degree temps.....brrrrrr. Although we have heated gear (jacket liner and gloves) it was still cold for riding a long period of time. I've gotta say, there was no hint of any overheating from the engine; the bars never went above 2, even while standing in traffic.

This is certainly a record for me. Just thought I'd share it.

Never enough heat when you need it. Maybe a farkle ducting system to direct engine heat up our pants legs is in order?

Anyway, you are tougher than I.

 
Iris, you weren't going fast enough. Above 100 mph the air friction generates supplemental heat!
