Because of the highway, millions of people just got a lot closer to the Gold Coast of Sonora's northern, pristine beaches. The highway, known in Mexico as "La Costera," will tap into a large potential of tourism for Sonora and Arizona, as the region attracts visitors and investment from Orange County, Calif., and San Diego. The drive from Yuma to El Golfo is about 1 hour, 15minutes. From El Golfo to Rocky Point it is about an hour drive.</em></p></blockquote><p></p>
