Damn nice work. I collect but not the real high end stuff. Yours are really nice. Love the folders. If you ever decide to make them again I'd buy for sure.

Wow. My big MC trip last year was to visit a forge in PA and make a knife, then went home and made a handle for it. I thought it looked pretty good before I saw all yours.

I've got pieces of Acacia (sp) wood from a butcher block shelf we had made. So nice I didn't want to throw it out. I bet that would make nice handles. Guy also said Acacia wood is what the Ark of the Covenant was made from. 🤷‍♂️

Where did you find it?

Greetings and salutations KM!
I don't know if you remember me but back in 2008. . .

I had a business trip to St Louis. I flew to Culman AL and bought my fjr and then rode to MO. 1st stop was your garage to do an oil / filter change. Then did my business for a few days in MO and rode home to CT. I still speak to friends about your generous hospitatlity :)

The fjr is now gone and I am bikeless but I still miss riding and will probably pick up something to do 3-400 mile day trips. The 1000 mile days are a thing of the past for sure, now that I'm pushing 77 :)

Anyway good to see you are still kicking around!. I occasionally log in here just to see what I'm missing.

Hey CTFJR, yes I remember you. Sorry to hear you are bike-less. I actually sold my FJR and got a 2012 Triumph Bonneville. Thanks for the steak dinner!

Meanwhile, just made this chefs knife using African Paduak for the handle, as a Christmas present for a “self proclaimed newbie chef” …AKA the school principal for the school my wife works for.
