What a long strange ride it's been...

Bought this 2006 FJR from PowerHouse in Paso Robles, CA, now out of biz.

She is named KrZy8 because the number 8 on the plate is upside down!

The BIG event was a Bambi strike in 2007.. which had significant mechanical ramifications later..
because the dealer ordered non-Ca lowers which didn't have CA evap cannister moldings.. so we decided to chuck the cannister..
but... but... the hoses remained disconnected and the engine sucked 6 miles of dirt 5x weekly for years... and eventually she had enough abuse and gave up.

So, a new to me 2007 engine, complete and delivered to the door for $1,400 was eBayed and is the engine in service today!
Many Many Many Thanks to Fairlaner who funded FjRay's gas bill so Ray could help us swap engines.. Never forgotten, King Richard!

How did the CBA president manage to ride that many miles??? Seriously, congrats on a major milestone for a bike that almost didn't survive the deer strike.
