Actually, no. Honda beat Kawi to 6-cyl production so Kawi delayed and went to 1300cc for bragging rights. The KZ was marketed as 'sport-tour' before the term existed. Water cooled, big tank, lots of luggage. The CBX was marketed more for sport than tour. Smaller tank, lighter weight, small bags, etc.
