Hi all, have had my 2001 model for over 3 years, its still as impressive every day that I use it.
I'm not a weekend warrior or tourer, just commute every day (even though lockdown) between 15 and 40 miles a day, often straight through the Middle of Manchester UK (which is a traffic nightmare and the roads are full of holes).
Although a big heavy beast, I can still get it through the tightest of gaps and let her rip when the open road calls.
I use a tank bag rather than the panniers (to get through the traffic).
Starts first time every time, I give it a wash now and then and a general service every couple of thousand miles.
Fitted with the cheapest tracker I could find which works great.
