I am looking for a lift nothing to fancy but something so I dont have to get on the floor to work on bikes.

Preferably air powered.

That garage is way bigger than my house! Of course, I live in the box/crate my FJR came in..

My Dad got a really nice ATV/Motorcycle jack at Fleet Farm. Its got wheels, easily foot-operated lift, decent sized jacking area (which has rubber on it!).

I used it for a wide variety of tasks before I got my own garage, and it worked great. He uses it when he takes the sidecar on and off his Wing...or at least he used to, I know he built a little cart thing, but I'm not sure that helps put the sidecar on the bike, it might just be for storing the sidecar...

=1 on the Handy lift. I just got one thru Amazon.com for $1100 deliverd to NY no tax. Best move I ever made. There are cheeper lifts. The handy is top quality. heavy duty and will last a lifetime

Handy Industries. The standard in most bike shops! The Kendon would be hard to do big jobs on IMO.

Rotary Lift. Made in USA. That's the one I'm going to get. If they can build car lifts forever bikes shouldn't be that bad

Yeah, I saw that too! Think I only paid $700 tops and that was with the heavy duty vise clamp! Mine sees duty for everything! Had it almost 15 yrs. now. Needed it 15 before that though! lol

I haven't had much luck with American made stuff, so I got one for $250 from Harbor Freight. It doesn't have a problem with the SV or FJR, and was great when I did the 50,000 miles valves/cam tensioner/chain&sprockets/tires on the SV

I bought this lift about five years ago and would not take for it. Longer than the Handy and comes with the vise included. At the time, I gave $599 for it and picked it up myself.

They tend to do car shows so you might catch them coming near you.

Only 300 mi from you. Maybe a buddy in a pickup coming back from there sometime?

They also have some nice car lifts for those other two stalls. Nice shop!
