New tag - A lesser version of a famous monument. Can be a less famous copy or just in the style of a more famous one.



This is the Jefferson Davis monument in Fairfield KY, 14 miles from my house. He was the president of the confederacy and they built this in 1917-1924 to look like the Washington Monument. This one's 351 feet and Washington's is 555. That still makes it the 5th tallest monument in the US even though Davis is far less popular these days.

BTW  the top pic is a "check point Charlie" being manned by self-proclaimed anarchist pieces of shit human beings.  That's the Seattle Police station hiding behind Pike & 12th.  Sad is 10 months later not much change. I just want to make fun, again, of all the bad ass protesters standing in a civil line to shit in a porta-potty.
