Should I care what temperature my oil is? I'd imagine that if you are doing anything with an FJR where you need to keep an eye on oil temps, you're probably doing something wrong, or using the wrong kind of bike.

I predict that no one is using one of these.

I think on the Feejer I would be more interested in oil pressure than temparature. But I digress, I did put one on my XR where it does suit a better purpose.

Probably scare yourself with whatever reading you get..... that's why we have cooling systems on the bike, to keep everything "normal"... nobody is gonna have one of these, not even a racer. Save yer money and put it toward your next oil change.

The last oil temp gauge that I saw was on an air cooled motorcycle. On a water cooled motorcycle other things will have gone wrong before the oil hits the red zone.

If you own an air cooled motorcycle this inexpensive temperature indicator would work just as well.... ;)
