I have a great cover and I'd recommend it to anybody. It's a Speedway Shelter, a portable and retractable tent that I've had in my driveway for at least seven or eight years. They had a booth at the big traveling bike show that they used to have in the S.F. Bay Area, and still do have around the country (don't know if they still use that show for sales though). I just checked with a dealer and they cost about $450 new, certainly more than a bike cover, but a heck of a lot less than building a garage, and to me, it's as good as a garage for the bike. BTW, that price is for the larger, "touring" size--perfect for the FJR with side and top cases and an oversize windscreen. The UV is hard on the fabric and eventually I had to replace just the rubberized canvas cover, which they sell for way less than half of the total cost, and that just velcroes onto the sturdy metal frame. Great product. Check it out in .
