I am back after attending the EOM in Kentucky. Thanks goes out to Craig (CraigRegs), my sister, Greg (Good2Go), and Greg (SkooterG) for going above and beyond to witness for me. The ride in a nutshell: The first BBG to Iowa went off right at 22 hours on schedule. Then a whimp replaced me on the seat as I entered Minnesota. He got cold and called the ride and pulled into a rest stop for a long snooze and actually called my father in northern Iowa to make plans for an extended visit. BUTT on the way up to the next exit... I regained control from him (Must have been the sun) continued the ride out west. I used the BBG to motivate myself. Once again in the Montana Mountains, that whimp took over. The (*&)&^$ actually got a motel, feeling the mountains, cold and wet night combined with roads with bends, were too much. He actually called Greg (Good2Go) and quit the ride a 2nd time- before I grabbed the phone from him, and Greg convinced me to at least try. I rode north through Helena, MT to Coutts for my start. Down to Mexico and met up with Greg and Greg. It was an honor to meet the 2 IBR vets. It sucked having to depart Mexico while the 2 of them enjoyed food. I would have enjoyed staying and talking and the thoughts of Mexican food haunted me all the way back to Canada. I trashed my turn around time (Break til the 24 hour mark) and departed after a sub at a gas station for a receipt. I finished the B2B2B and headed out to California (Taking my option "B" route instead of the extended route) In California I had some lights installed. I went south for easy riding before heading to Iowa to complete the 10/10ths in 8 and a half days. Stayed in motels the last 3 nights and took it easy. I'll write a RR later- I promise it will be short. :P
