Great pictures Mudslide, really helped me put names to the BMW crowd. The guy next to AZBeemer firefighter Henry,is John Max or better known as Johnny80's here on the forum.

I enjoyed talking with you again and if you make into northern California be sure to look me up, we always have room for our 2 wheeled friends plus there are a few roads in these parts you would enjoy.

Appreciate that Doug. I will definitely take you up on your offer next time I'm in your neck of the woods. I love riding northern Cali just as much as the awesome roads in the Rockies but I'm sure there are tons of tasty treats I have never been on over there. Was good to get to know you a little better, as well.

And I would like to share this moment with all-

By the time I collected my thoughts and tears to exit the ceremony,

all the Guardian Bells were gone.

​(the family offered guardian bells from Don to protect riders from evil and bad shit)

when I walked by, ..basket empty.

I was, really, heartbroken...

.....so wanted one for Naomi, Don's 2013 FJR

Later,

at the wake, I spoke up, to nobody, but everybody, how disappointed I was to not have a guardian bell for Naomi..

What is strange, is that, I never do that, I just accept that karma isn't always fair and go on -

But -

Then, Marcus, of Marcus and Duke, and now Duthcess, bless his heart,

"You can have mine".

Such a tender moment. One I will always remember and be appreciative for.

And Naomi forever shall wear the bell.

Thank You, Sir Marcus, Thank You.
